The countdown is officially on. As we approach the mid-summer launch window, 15-year-old Jamie Arnold is making his final preparations for an unyielding athletic and technical challenge: 1 million kickups in just 100 days.
This is not just a test of stamina; it is a test of supreme discipline. Averaging 10,000 touches a day requires intense physical conditioning, relentless routine, and an unbreakable mindset. Behind the scenes, the entire Kickups.com infrastructure is gearing up to support and validate this incredible feat.
Testing The AI Verification Engine
A challenge of this magnitude requires absolute transparency. Rather than relying on manual counting, we are actively testing our proprietary computer-vision tracking technology built right here.
The system is designed to ingest daily session footage and algorithmically identify, isolate, and audit every single touch of the ball. As you can see in the testing footage above, the tracking grid is currently being calibrated to recognize the ball at high speeds, ensuring that when the 100 days begin, the public leaderboard is backed by flawless data integrity.
Charity Partnerships Incoming
The core purpose of this immense physical effort is to drive engagement and vital capital to regional support networks. We are currently in the final stages of wrapping up legal parameters and logistical frameworks with our chosen charity partners.
We are incredibly excited to be directing the campaign's focus toward mental health crisis intervention and essential children's hospice care frameworks. We will be making the formal partnership announcements shortly, outlining exactly how the community can get involved and pledge their support via our connected JustGiving channels.
Stay tuned. The 100-day countdown is about to begin.
